Saving the earth is not just the duty of one person. It’s the concern of all of us who live and have lived on it and had a say in its damage. At the same time as it would be painless to be just walking by and taking off, the truth is that our choices-from cosmetic to dietary, from fashion to utilities-have an impression on nature. If we want to leave it in a better condition for our children and grandchildren to enjoy, we should strive to live a no-impact lifestyle.
As marketers, we exert more or less some power over buyers. Why not use this same power to urge them to help save the Earth? Here are some things you can do as a promotional specialist to retard the Earth’s destruction:
* Incorporate environmentally friendly giveaways in your marketing campaign. Even though your marketing campaign may not be related to the environment, choosing earth-friendly corporate gifts is a proactive way of helping save the Earth. * Support an advocacy that helps save the environment. Are you looking for ways to increase your sales? Why not collaborate with a local environmental activist group for an earth-friendly activity? Donors are more inspired to give, and buyers are inclined to buy more if they know that what leaves their hands profits a good noble cause.
* Promote an earth-friendly awareness among workers and stockholders. Saving the earth is not merely about planting trees, rejecting plastic bags, or choosing nature-friendly products. It is a whole lifestyle and a choice in itself. Make it a point to alert your employees about the why’s and how’s of their choices and their effect on nature. It is not only about choosing to go with what is trendy. The choice should be sustained by the correct reasons, so it is basic that the reasons behind be understood.
