The Importance Of Email Marketing

Most people don’t understand the importance of email marketing, in fact 80 to 90% of all internet marketers don’t use email marketing at all, they will use traffic exchanges and Adwords in order to get traffic to there sites. Traffic exchanges are not that effective in getting good quality visitors that are willing to buy. And Adwords can get you great traffic, but can be to expensive for most people to use.

The reason most people don’t use email marketing is that they don’t have the information they need to set it all up and to start building a list. Here is a list of things you need to start building your own list.

One of the first things you will need is an auto responder, this is a program that will automatically add people to your list and will allow you to automatically send pre-set emails to everyone who signs up.

OK, so now you have an auto-responder and you need to get people to sign up for your list. To do this you need products that you can give away to anyone who joins your list. This gives them an incentive to join.

Thirdly you will need your own website and hosting service, this is so your new sign ups can sign up for your list and download your free products.

Once you have all that set up now you need to start driving visitors to your sign up page.

Now for those of you who would like to start email marketing without having to get a auto responder or domain name and hosting, I have a few suggestions for you as well.

And as soon as your join you can start emailing immediately.

And the last thing I would like to share with you is the importance of being able to write emails that will actually get people to open them. First do not use the bait and switch, meaning that in the subject line you write something like:
“Your account has been canceled”
and then when they open your email you are trying to sell them a e book on dog training, this is considered spam. And Can get you in a lot of trouble.
