The Roughest Guide To Ibiza

Ibiza is part of a small chain of three islands known as the Balearic islands, which is a small archipelago off the east cost of Spain. Ibiza is a beautiful island with amazing beaches and high towering cliffs covered with pine trees. It’s quite a dusty place. From a distance the hills look like they are piles of salt covered with Broccoli. If all you know of Ibiza is the trashy TV show that play on Satellite TV then you’re in for a bit of a pleasant surprise when you come and visit.

Ibiza Town retains all its past glory and whilst commercialism has brought some high rise hotels there are also still some great places of character. Most of the hotels are open from April through October only. Ibiza has an incredible mix of cultures, the Spanish, this hippies, the clubbers, the media types, the glitterati from across Europe, the old school posh English

Ibiza is the perfect if you love the warm summer sun. The island is famous for its hot summers and perfect beach weather and the sunshine is certainly plentiful during this time. In the winter the weather is colder but there’s still plenty of sun. The island tends to be deserted once the clubs shut.

San Antonio on the west coast of Ibiza is a great place to come on holiday ” this beautiful bay with its lovely beaches, spectacular sunsets and Mediterranean sunshine is very attractive. San An tends to be spoiled by the English in football shirts. There are plenty of English bars and greasy spoon cafes to help the English feel like they never left home. You can spot the English as they trudge around too hot and red with sunburn.

Ibiza has lots to offer no matter what type of holiday you are after. You sure to have an amazing time in the Balearics. It’s worth pointing out that ibiza pretty much closes down for the winter once the clubs shut in October. Which is a shame as it’s a great place to visit all year around.
